Marlborough Wine Festival - A terrific day in Marlborough! 16 Feb 2010

An uncharacteristic start to the day with a few morning showers, did not put off the 9,000 strong crowd who were out to enjoy the Marlborough Wine Festival for 2010.

We at Tohu were out in force, using the Wine Festival as an opportunity to showcase our new look and new vintage wines.  During the day we received many enthusiastic compliments regarding the new labels and fabulous 2009 vintage wines - which was of course greatly appreciated by the Tohu team.

For this year's competition people had to simply answer the following question to go into the draw to win 1 of 6 mixed cases of Tohu wines; "What does the Tohu Koru symbolise?".  The correct answer is 'new life and new growth'.  Congratulations goes out to the following people who are our lucky winners:

Debbie Anderson
Karl Wederell
Shirley Housley
                                            Gloria Hakaraia
                                            Phibbs
                                            Paula Eastman

We hope you all enjoy the wines!

Tohu will be back in 2011 for the next Wine Festival, however if you can not wait until then we will be at the up and coming Havelock Mussel Festival, March 20th 10am - 6pm, Havelock.  For further details regarding the Mussel Festival click through to the following website: www.musselfestival.havelocknz.com
